Why is my freezer temperature display flashing?

If the digital display of your freezer is flashing that indicates that the temperature dropped below minus 14 C. This could be because the door was accidentally left open, warm food was put into the compartment, there was a power cut, etc. Press and hold the alarm button (klaxon with a cross through it) and it will indicate the highest temperature reached since the last time that the button was pressed. When the button is released the display will revert to normal, assuming that there is no longer a problem.

If you are intending to put fresh food into a freezer switch the Super(Fast) freeze on at least two hours prior to adding the food and always put the fresh food on the top shelf until such time as it has become frozen.
